Afterlives of gay print media
Images appeared in and are reproduced from issues of Gay Community News published in the late 1970s and early 1980s. GCN was a Boston-based, nationally circulating publication that ran weekly from 1973 to 1999. GCN was a collectively run publication focused on gay liberation and known for its radical politics.
